About REV33

Headquartered in the Live Music Capital of the World, REVx Technologies was born from a passion for music and a technical curiosity to better the listening experience.
Utilizing over 50 years of combined experience in the tech industry, co-founders, Dr. Dennis Rauschmayer and Brett Butler, began work on a solution for the universal problem plaguing musicians and casual listeners alike – unwanted noise and distortion caused by in-ear monitors and headphones.

The two, together with music industry veteran Bryan Anderton, applied their expertise in electrical and sound engineering to reimagine the mechanics of a century-old design. Whereas much research had been done on the examination of audio frequency response to improve sound clarity, the REVx team took a novel approach, capitalizing on their extensive experience in the semiconductor space. The result? REV33 – a revolutionary device used for cleaning noise and distortion from your audio signal, resulting in an unparalleled level of sonic clarity.

The team began the process of meticulously characterizing the REV33 to the impedance of over 300 individual headphone and in-ear models. In March 2015, REV33 launched at SXSW and has since become the must-have device for many of the industry’s top artists and engineers. Check out which big names have joined the REVolution »
